Evaluation
You
should be finishing your construction now and getting ready to start putting
together your evaluation, if you haven't already done so.
If
you have taken our advice, you will have collated lots of material for your
evaluation during the production process, so you should just need to assemble
this together.
Your
evaluation MUST answer the following questions in detail and be presented in an
original and creative way - not just typed up in sentences:
1.
In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and
conventions of real media products? (i.e. of music magazines)
2.
How does your media product represent particular social groups ?
3.
What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?
4.
Who would be the audience for your media product?
5.
How did you attract/address your audience?
6.
What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
7.
Looking back at your preliminary task (the school magazine), what do you feel
you have learnt in the progression from it to full product?
Check
out this section of Pete Fraser's blog for some inspiration as to how you may
present your evaluation:

Or

you might approach each question in a user-friendly format.
Good
luck - and don't forget the final deadline is midnight on Friday 28th February!
